Vishno Lohana

2024-25 President
Origin: Vishno Lohana hails from Kohistan Sindh.

Relocation: In 2002, Vishno made the significant move to Ontario, Canada, where he has since established his home and professional life. His professional engagements have taken him to cities such as Victoria BC, Calgary, and Ottawa, where he has contributed his expertise to different projects and organizations.

Professional Journey: Vishno holds a degree in Electronics Engineering from Mehran University of Engineering & Technology. He embarked on his career journey in 2000, venturing into SAP consulting. Since then, he has been an integral part of the IT industry, specializing as a SAP Business Intelligence Consultant.

Personal Milestone: Recently, Vishno and his wife, Kala Lohana, celebrated their silver jubilee years of marriage, marking a significant milestone in their journey together.

‍Family: Vishno and Kala are proud parents to three sons: Neil, Rahul, and Sagar. All three sons have pursued higher education at the University of Waterloo and have successfully graduated. They are now carving their paths in the fields of Software Engineering and Finance

Rakhi Kailash

📍 Location: Toronto, Canada (Originally from Karachi, Pakistan)

👩💼 Professional Background: Rakhi Kailash, originally from Karachi, Pakistan, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the College of Business Management (IoBM). She began her professional journey in the financial industry as an intern and has since pursued various paths within the same sector. Currently, Rakhi is thriving as a Credit Application Analyst at TD Bank.

🤝 Involvement in Charity Programs: Rakhi is deeply committed to giving back to her community and has actively participated in several charity programs at work. Her contributions include initiatives with organizations such as United Way, Plant a Tree, and Big Brothers Big Sisters.

💖 Personal Life: Rakhi is happily married to Kailash Raney, and together they are proud and blessed parents of two beautiful children, Krisha (12) and Viraj (3). Family is at the heart of everything Rakhi does, and she cherishes spending quality time with her loved ones.

🌍 Interests: Beyond her professional and family commitments, Rakhi has a passion for traveling, exploring new destinations, and immersing herself in the wonders of nature. She also enjoys socializing and hanging out with friends, creating cherished memories along the way.

Rajesh Nachnani

Origin: Nawabshah, Sindh

Relocation: In 2002, Rajesh embarked on a long journey to Ontario, Canada, where he has since built both his personal and professional foundations.

Professional Journey: Rajesh has shifted across different roles, starting as a Civil Engineer, then moving to Supply Chain Management, and eventually venturing into Entrepreneurship. Alongside his career, he has volunteered, led charities like CANSA, and been involved in ‘organizing committees’ like Festive Friends. His passion for helping others has resulted in his election as a VP General Activities for CANSA.

Personal Milestone: Reuniting with parents and siblings in Canada was my lifelong dream. At first, it felt like an impossible feat, but now I firmly believe that where there’s a will, there’s a way. Finally, in 2013, our reunion in Canada felt like nothing short of a miracle.

Family: Presently enjoying marital bliss with Vijanti Mala, we feel incredibly fortunate as proud parents of Ryan Nachnani and Rohan Nachnani. Ryan is advancing his career in the Creative industries at Toronto Metropolitan University, currently in his third year, while Rohan is in the eighth grade.

Vijay Maghnani

Origin: Kunri, Umerkot, Sindh

Relocation: In 2011, Vijay migrated to Malaysia with family to setup a business, and in 2021 Vijay once again made the significant move to Canada, where he has since established his home and professional life.

Education Background: Vijay Maghnani, post graduated with a MBA degree from SZABIST Karachi, Pakistan. He as well as holds a diploma in Banking and Finance from IBP, Karachi, Pakistan.

Professional Background: Vijay Maghnani., began his professional journey in the banking sector as an management trainee in National Bank of Pakistan, where he received many promotions and recognitions. He served the bank as a branch manager before becoming an entrepreneur in Malaysia.He founded a private limited company in Malaysia in the year 2011, which export palm oil products to different parts of the world. Currently Vijay, is commencing a sister company to his Malaysian business in Ontario, Canada.

Personal Life: Vijay Maghnani is married to Sunita Maghnani, and together they are proud parents of Sumit Kumar (17) and Sonia Kumari (15). Sunita, is working for Waterloo school board, while Sumit and Sonia are currently in their high school.

Community Service: Vijay and his family, are always passionate to serve the community. Though out his journey, he has the privilege to engage in various forms of the community services.  From lending a helping hand to organizing large-scale events such as Holi, Diwali and Cheti Chand, and to be host in various activities.
